Awfully Big Art Adventure have a bookmark as their challenge this week so here is mine....showing both sides.....it's based on the Holy Grail tapestries designed by William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones.
I thought it would be amusing to put some words on the bookmark...just in case the book was boring !
The background is done with a copper dabber and the images are from a magazine.
I'd also like to enter this in the
Colour Create challenge which this week has picked the colours "Orange,Yellow and Green"
Thanks for popping by !

Very creative and beautiful, RubyMay. Love the copper dauber.
My image isn't a transfer, but it is an unmounted rubber stamp that I received as an RAK a year or so ago. I believe it is by Hearts in Touch. While they are really beautiful stamps, I still haven't mastered stamping with them.
Fabulous Ruby May. The colours are so rich. Really beautiful bookmark.

Its gorgeous! I love the background colour and the beautiful images. I think this tapestry is on display at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery - I'm going there in a few weeks so I shall have a look!

Absolutely stunning - but then I am a huge William Morris fan. The copper background is so effective - a very beautiful piece of work, and thanks for joining in our challenge.

Love this one, especially the colours, thanks for visiting my blog.
Beautiful! Too funny what you say about a "boring" book! That's is such an interesting tidbit about how they wove the tapestries - and your bookmark looks almost like it would be the front and the back as well with the directions the people are facing.....
Wow Ruby May, these are stunning. The colours are irresistable, wel done Jaqi
Wow, fabulous work RubyMay! So pleased that you joined us this week at CC.
