"Nature" "Doors and Windows" and "Paint

The theme at Created By Hand this week is "Doors and Windows" which seems to fit in with one of the double pages I've done in an altered book I'm making.
...and as there are several layers of paint on these pages I would like to enter it in the Crazy Amigos challenge which is "Paint "
This also fits the theme "Nature" at My Time To Craft.
There's a song thrush hiding behind the door (window) as I'm altering a birdwatchers pocket companion.
Most of my craft time is being spent on this book at the moment so its nice to enter a part of it into these challenges.

Gold ! .........2 Challenges

Created By Hand and My Time To Craft both have Gold in their themes this week so here is a piece for both challenges.
Every time I hear the news it's all about money...so I thought I'd do a piece with that in mind !
The background is scrunched tissue covered with pearlescent glue.... then alchohol ink was drizzled on it and buffed when dry. The words are written on the computer.
The charm is a mix of bits from my "wotsit" box.

Vintage...Two Challenges !

Here is one of the pages from a "Coffee filter" book I am making. The shape is based on a coffee filter and working with it was certainly a challenge! It seemed a good idea when I started but all the different angles have proved to be quite difficult.
Anyway I've done six pages up to now so I'll stick with it and hopefully get it finished soon !
I am entering this page in this weeks "Theme Thursday " challenge which is "Vintage"
...and "Created By Hand" challenge which is "Ribbon and Trim"

The challenge at "Created By Hand" is "Pink and Brown " so I have made a tag.

Card and Matching Bookmark

Here is a card I have made (and designed !) which holds a bookmark as a gift.


Here are the card and bookmark shown separately. This is the first time I have tried to make a card like this so I am entering it in the "Created By Hand " challenge which is to try something new.
I would also like to enter this in the "Daring Cardmakers" challenge which asked us to add something extra to match our cards.
If you want to copy this you will need to put the ribbon slightly to the right on the front of your card so that the bookmark sits under it evenly...also dont put the brads in the ribbon too tight so that if you give the bookmark a slight twist the brads hold it in place on the front of the card.

Journey...

Here is my piece for the "Created By Hand" challenge which is "Journey".
Not a very good pic I'm afraid but I hope you like it anyway !

Tri-Card With Envelope !

Here is another triple card ...made this time for the "Created By Hand" challenge which is "envelopes"
I must say that making this took me back to when I first started making cards and I used to put a little card and envelope on the front of nearly everything !
I have used peel offs on the front so that I can also enter it in the DCM challenge.(which is to make something which uses peel offs )

Pastel Card

Here is another layered card but without the need to weight the base card as the bottom of all of them are lined up.
I made this for the "Pastel" challenge on "Created By Hand"
(The fronts of the cards were stamped with versamark and embossed in white)
